StarWars Belt

This was a scrap busting project from my Man's Shirt (see HERE) and I actually whipped it up in a few hours before going out on a dinner date. It was my day off and I wanted to surprise him with something made out of the same fabric and a belt came to mind!

I was originally going to use a buckle but didn’t have one that I loved with the fabric. So I opted to do simple buttons and button holes.

The buttons are vintage from my Grandmother’s stash. It’ll be interesting to see how long they last because they feel quite brittle.

I do wish I had a bit stiffer interfacing on hand to keep the shape of the belt better. But didn’t want to buy any because I was trying to keep the project no-cost.

You may recognize the jumpsuit from Kimberly’s wedding! It’s 90s vintage and I thrifted it back in 2018.

Really enjoyed this project and the way it came out!
